Corporate Citizenship
Armed Forces Insurance (AFI) has always been an integral part of our community. As a member of the Leavenworth-Lansing Area Chamber of Commerce, we actively participate in the social and economic growth of the local area.
AFI is also affiliated with Leavenworth Area Development, a non-profit organization focused on promoting and assisting the location of new and expanding businesses in Leavenworth County.
At AFI, we understand the importance of service and caring for those in the local community. Through United Way, we are able to directly help improve the lives of Leavenworth County residents.
To further support community activities, AFI formed a "Family & Community Committee" made up of employee volunteers. This Committee coordinates fundraising activities and employee support for a variety of charitable organizations in the Leavenworth area. The Family & Community Committee assisted 13 area charitable organizations in 2010, including: The American Cancer Society, Kids Connection, CASA, LAWS, and Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
